Founded by brothers Tommy Paul and Joey Paul with guitarist Thomas Morris, Foreign Influence started out almost 2 years ago playing covers of classic and hard rock tunes from the 70's,80's,and 90's. Since then they have gone through many different line ups but have found consistency through bassist Darien Lapointe. This year in 2011 they opened for the legendary Canadian rock band "Trooper" at the Vancouver Island Raiders Season Kickoff Fundraiser in May. They have also played such venues as The Queens,Duncan Garage Showroom,The Spice Lounge,The Rainbow Room,Nanaimo Dragonboat Festival,Cherry Creek Hall,Nanaimo Entertainment Centre,Beban Park Auditorium,Cottonwood Golf Course,Nanaimo Blues In The Park, and Headliners. The ages vary from 16-25, but don't let that fool you, Foreign Influence captures the sound of old classic hard rock with a new edge from the 90's grunge movement. Foreign Influence has come to renew the rock scene, get ready.
